About the ABA
The American Boxing Association (ABA) is created to allow for American boxers to have a belt to fight for and defend with a sense of national pride.
Like our counterparts in Great Britain, and other parts of the world, the ABA aims to provide an opportunity for American citizens to fight for, defend, a patriotic title. The opportunity is available for all American boxers with requisite experience, drive, and dedication.
What do Smokin Joe Frazier, Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano, Ezzard Charles, Floyd Patterson, Sugar Ray Robinson, Ray “Boom-Boom” Mancini and champions like them have in common? They are Americans and bring the best America has to offer into the boxing ring is the mission of the ABA – American Boxing Association.
We have tons of sanctioning bodies, but none specifically recognizing an American Boxing Champion. ABA would change that. They would create a competition among the best available boxers existing in any weight division. They would be fighting for what will become the most coveted Championship Belt in existence – the ABA Belt and the national recognition and rewards that would go with it.
